Pages: 342.

Series: The Selection Series.

Release Date: May 5, 2015.

Original name: The Heir #4.

Genre: Young Adult-Fantasy, Dystopia.

How I Got the Book: at Barnes & Nobles.

Plot: 20 years ago her mother won the crown. Now Princess Eadlyn is ready to find true love.

Princess Eadlyn has grown up hearing endless stories about how her mother and father met. Twenty years ago, America Singer entered the Selection and won the heart of Prince Maxon-and they lived happily ever after. Eadlyn has always found their fairy-tale story romantic, but she has no interest in trying to repeat it. if it were up to her, she'd put off marriage for as long as posssible. But a princess's life is never entirely her own, and Eadlyn can't escape her very own Selection- no matter how fervently she protests. Eadlyn doesn't expect her story to end in romance. but as the competition begins, one entry may just capture Eadlyn's heart, showing her all the possibilities that lie in front of her... and proving that finding her own happily ever after isn't as impossible as she's always thought.

I've love The Selection series since the first book, they're oe of my favourites books ever. I was really excited when I knew The Selection series were going to have a fourth book, man I was really excited, I wanted to keep seeing America and Maxon moments, I wanted to find out what happened with Marlee and Captain Woodwork.

I wasn't dissapointed by this book at all, because since the very first moment I knew this were going to be a new Selection, hosting by America's and Maxon's daughter, Eadlyn. But God, this girl is so stubborn, strong-willed and sometimes a little bit obnoxious, and seeing her as the main character in this book you can tell how much Cass has changed things in this book. Maxon has ended the caste system and it seems that unhapiness and unrest is coming with that change.

I love Eadlyn's personality, she's so strong but it's a little annoying every chapter, seeing that probably twice she sais "I'm Eadlyn Schreave and no one is more powerful than me", I mean, we know who you are darling, so stop. The fact that we were able to see the characters from the past books is amazing, seeing Aspen with Miss Lucy, Marlee with Captain Woodwork and of course... Maxon and America, omg, despite all the attention that the book gives to Eadlyn, we still can see that endless love that they have for each other.

The suitors... they're all amazing, I love one and each of them, I loved Eadlyn's choices, and I think that's one of the things that makes you read this books, that you don't really know who is she going the choose. So you want to keep reading to find out and of course beacuse you have your favourites and you're rooting for them, mines are Kile, Henri, Erik (I know he's not a suitor but he has such a lovely connection with Eadlyn), Fox and Hale and Ean. All the other books had so much to do with this one that it's awesome.

This book is what I called a reading-in-one-sitting, it's awesome, lovely, it makes you want to scream of anger, cry of sadness, jump of joy and so on, it's something refreshing but with that thing that makes Kiera Cass books what they are. I highly recommend this book if you loved The Selection Series.

My favourites pages from this book are:

63, 72, 84, 115, 162, 172, 175, 235, 251, 329, 332.

Book Review: The Selection by Kiera Cass, Book #1

For thirty-five girls, the Selection is the chance of a lifetime. The opportunity to escape the life laid out for them since birth. To be swept up in a world of glittering gowns and priceless jewels. To live in a palace and compete for the heart of gorgeous Prince Maxon.

But for America Singer, being Selected is a nightmare. It means turning her back on her secret love with Aspen, who is a caste below her. Leaving her home to enter a fierce competition for a crown she doesn't want. Living in a palace that is constantly threatened by violent rebel attacks.

Then America meets Prince Maxon. Gradually, she starts to question all the plans she's made for herself--and realizes that the life she's always dreamed of may not compare to a future she never imagined.

Let's talk about one of my favourites series now! The Selection is the story of America Singer, a five, which lives on a dystopian worlds after the Fourth World War between China and USA, after the war the country was named Illéa and the people was divided by castes (NO IT'S NOT THG OR DIVERGENT) the castes goes from Eights (the most poor people), Sevens (manual laborers), Sixes (workers/servants), Fives (artists and performers), Four (businessmen), Threes (great minds), Twos (celebrities), One (the royal family).

The Selection is a competition where 35 Daughters of Illéa are chosen to be the next princess and the next wife of Prince Maxon, America has boyfriend, he's a Six and she's a Five so it's forbidden for both of them to be together, America and Aspen are  in love, but he's stubborn about their future together, one day a card arrived to the Singer's house telling them that her daughter is a possibly candidate for The Selection, Aspen forces her to enter The Selection. America turns out to be one of the "lucky" 35 girls destined to win Prince's Maxon heart, and since the first moment her named was shown on that list of girls, her reality seems pretty far in all the senses.

The Selection made my heart ache on every single page, it's so amazing and beautifully written and I don't even have words to describe it. The Selection it's just amazing, the way America is and the way she acts, she's so cute because for her, castes never meant to much, and since the first time she's determined to be out of that silly competition for the heart of someone she didn't even love or want. But when she meets Prince Maxon... oh... my... God... She literally scream at him telling him she doesn't even liked him at all, but that's not the point. The point is this book is so awesome, it's really easy to read and understand and you really became fond in the characters, their personalities, the way all the 35 girls acted it's really well described, all the escenario and not that "Charming Prince" from fairy tales and the typical girls who falls in love... NO. Maxon really seems like a hurt person, his whole live have been on a palace without the opportunity of beign able in love, an America... all that she wants it's... well it's hard to explain. I mean, I love the way she is like kind of independient but broken and the fact that she doesn't even like Maxon make things even more interesting beacuse you're able to see the development of the thoughts of America about all that princess-living style (AND OF COURSE ABOUT MAXON!!!). So it's an excellent book, it has so much to give and you can't stop reading it!!!

How Do I Highlight My Favourite Parts?

Okay first of all, i'm not the kind of person that usually highlight her books with pencils or markers because sometimes the book is to pretty or to amazing to be destroyed in that way (if you highlight your book with markers and things like that good for u!).

I'm gonna tell you how I personally highlight my favourites parts:

1. I use Post It, the small ones because they're easier to put and they are pretty good at sight, I don't have any code for the colors I only take one and paste it where I want.

2. If I have a real obsession with the book and I feel like I have a special bond with the book I use colored pencils, same here I don't have color-codes but I use something to make the line straight.

3. When the book is hardcover and have that thing that cover the book I use the big Post It, I paste them on one of the faces of the book and everytime I like some part I just only write down the number of the page and some spoiler (so that way I can remember why I like that page).

Why do I use highlights?
Because three simple reasons:

1. Because sometimes the book have some parts that I just simply think are beautifully written and I love everything about that part.

2. Beacause probably something REALLY important happened in that part (mostly, something that choked me).

3. Because they are cute-sad-exciting moments that takes my breath away everytime I read them because are OTP moments, death moments or some spicy moments (my Hush Hush series are proof of that).

Book Review: Hush Hush Series by Becca Fitzpatrick -SPOILERS-

Becca Fitzpatrick is the author of the Hush Hush series, she is a New York Bestselling Author, she writes fantasy books and young-adult books.

The first book is Hush Hush and the last one is Finale. The main character of the series is Nora Grey, a high school student who meets Patch Cipriano, an irresistible and dangerous 'bad boy', their love go through hards times, even death.

The story begins with the monotone life of Nora Grey, a normal teenager on high school who lives with her mom in Coldwater, Maine. One day she meets a guy named Patch Cipriano, he's mysterious, dangerous and with a lot of secrets. Patch turns out to be one of the bad boys, one of the fallen angels, Nora falls for Patch, while Patch plans to kill Nora to approach to the opportunity to have a human body, a sacrifice is needed, suddenly Patch changes his mind and they both fall in love, but someone else is hunting Nora to death, turns out that the person that is following Nora is Chauncey Langeais, a pure blood Nephilim (a Nephilim is the hybrid between fallen angels and humans), he need to kill Nora to be free of an ancestral pact which says that every Jeshvan he gives his body to a fallen angel and with that the fallen can feel. Nora and  Patch killed Chauncey, but worse things are coming because of that dead, because Nora is a descendant of Chauncey, which means she plays an important rol in the world of Nephilims and Fallen Angels, and the love of Patch and Nora turns out to be forbidden since the moment when Patch saved Nora from being killed, he became her guardian angel, and the love between a mortal and an angel cannot happen.

Soooo, honestly, this is one of my favouriteeeees sagas, I love the characters, I love their personalities, the scenarios, and all that... AND I'M CRAZY IN LOVE WITH PATCH! I have to be honest, Patch is my MCE I love the fact that he's a bad boy playing the role of a good one, I love the way he connected with Nora, and of course, I love Scott Parnell too, I shiped Nora & Scott in Crescendo when I thought Patch was being and A-S-S-H-O-L-E but I ship Vee & Scott, and of course I don't care if Dante if one of the bad guys part of the army of Hank, I still love him bc let's be honest, if you've read Finale and you haven't fall in love with Dante, you're not human. Becca Fitzpatrick is God, she describe the emotions, the feelings in a deeply and beautifull way, her characters have a lot to give and you can feel what they're feeling without any problem, the develop in such an amazing way, they grow and it's awesome, the bad guys makes you want to be with them and the good guys seems like boring in Becca's books, the way she mixed everything and makes you think and think and think about every single details that can help you find out who the real bad guy is, another thing I love about this history is that I DON'T SEE ANY SECOND CHARACTERS ON THIS HISTORY, Becca makes everyone as important as Nora & PAtch, even when you think they're not... BOOM, they are so damn important and so awesome as the principal characters, for me Hush Hush is so awesome, I've read the series uncountable times and I still fall in love with the history, the characters and everything, all I can say is that Becca Fitzpatrick is Jesus and Cassandra Clare is God.

Book Review: The Mortals Instruments -SPOILER FREE-

The author of TMI series is the most amazing person in the whole world, Cassandra Clare, is also the author of the Magisterium series.

The series goes from the first book COB to the las book who was released on 2014.

Tells the story of a girl called Clary Fray whose life seems pretty normal for a 15 years old tennager on NYC. She lives with her mom, her mom's boyfriend (Luke) and her best friend (Simon Lewis). Her life start changing one day she decides to go to a

club for her birthday, named The Pandemonium Club, with Simon,.There she saw 3 weird teenagers with weird knifes and tattos murdering a blue-haired guy, since that moment Clary's life started changing, she finds out her mom was a Shadowhunter, just like the ones she saw the night before one the club, and just like her. The Nephilims are creatures created by the Angel Raziel, beings of inmense power, half human-half angel, destined to save and protect the world, and of course, to fight against demons. Suddenly her mom dissapears and one of the Shadowhunters helps Clary to find out what happened to her, she falls in love with Jace and she finds out that her mom's boyfriend, Luke, is a werewolf, part of the Downworld (vampires, werewolves, fairies, warlocks). It's up to Clary to save her mom, find the object that Valentine is asking for and trying to get her memory back.

Okaaaaaay, this is one of my favourites sagas in the whole world, tbh I fell in love with the characters since the very first moment and I still love them. TMI it's beautifully written, the way Cassandra Clare develops all the characters, the way she doesn't miss a single detail and all those blacks and deep thoughts she puts on her books made the perfect-ever-seen-combination in the whole world. I have to be honest, I like Clary and Jace and yessss I ship Clace but mostly I ship MALEC!!! Bc Malec is my favourite couple ever, I love Magnus Bane bc he's so damn fabulous, sexy, thrilling and the most perfect human being-warlock the world ever had (or anyone could create lol) but yeah, and Alec is all shy and with all his pride and they just are the cuttest couple ever (and I think it's the best bc I would never get tired of Magnus beign cute).

But yeah, I highly recommend this series, it's breathtaking, dangerous, it has romance, sad moments, funny moments, sarcasm and all the things you would ask for on a good book or saga.
